Hoyt St bamboo decks are locally hand crafted in Portland, Oregon by Bamboo Revolution.  Bamboo is a sustainable and fast growing grass with a higher specific compressive strength than wood, brick or concrete and a specific tensile strength that rivals steel.  The result is a deck that is as beautiful as it is resilient, creating the dilemma of whether to ride it or hang it on the wall.
